About The Film

This psychological thriller chronicles the year leading to the assassination of Israel's Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin in 1995. A rare look into the radicalized mind of an assassin, the film examines the forces that acted on Yigal Amir, from his personal quest to become a hero in the eyes of his peers, to feelings of rejection from a love interest, to the intense polarization of politicians and religious leaders reacting to Rabin's efforts to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict once and for all. The film is a cautionary tale about what happens when leaders incite politics of violence and hate.
