In 1916, when Rebecca Amato Levy was a four-year old girl, she went to the movies for the first time in the Jewish quarter on the Greek island of Rhodes,  When she was 27, under impending fascist threats, she left her home forever,   An intimate film, Adio elegantly observes the handing down of knowledge and identity, and the connections forged between past and present, through one storytelling.
