Living for Tomorrow: Untold Stories by the Pioneering Women of Israel

In Living for Tomorrow we hear from a number of Zionists, now in their eighties and nineties, who gave up home and family, following their socialist dreams to pioneer the Kibbutz movement.  Made by the granddaughter of one pioneer, the film brings to life the courage required to leave everything familiar behind and adapt to the rigors of desert life as well as the demands of kibbutz ideology.  Screening with Company Jasmine.
