Judith

This is the compelling story of Christine, a young German gentile, who had long dreamed of immigrating to Israel and linking her fate with the Jewish people. She chooses to undergo a strict, orthodox conversion and takes a new identity and name—Judith. Today, 14 years after her initial absorption, she still feels like a foreigner. Despite her numerous attempts to immerse herself in all aspects of Israeli society, she continues to run into a “glass wall.”  Screening with Farewell, She Came to Pick Me Up, and A Dream of Mother.
