Die Präsidenten
The story of two men, Alexander Bergmann and Steven Springfield, who met in the Riga ghetto, and then survived the Kaiserwald and Stutthof concentration camps. After their liberation their ways parted, as Bergmann returned to Riga and Springfield arrived penniless in the US in 1947. Five decades later, each is President of his survivor association, and, in defiance of time and distance, they are once again close friends. Alexander Bergmann, Director Heike Glaser, Producer Roman Moos, and Director of Photography Volker Glaser will be present for post-film discussion.
