Company Jasmine

wpe4.gif (3164826 bytes)

Company Jasmine zeroes in on five of fifty female cadets in training for the prestigious Israeli Women Field Officers School.  Over a grueling 5-month period, they contend with rigorous physical training, and deal with significant questions: their identity and worthiness (in their own eyes and in those of society) femininity and the military, battle-readiness and command.  Directed by former officer Yael Katzir, the film reflects the startling diversity of today’s Israeli youth.  Screening with Living For Tomorrow.

Northwest Premiere
Director: Yael Katzir
