Seder Trek

Set primarily in Nepal, Seder Trek bobs back and forth between two stories.  One concerns director Zefania’s trek to Gokio Peak, in the Mount Everest region of the Himalayas; the other focuses on the inspiration and preparations behind “the largest seder in the world,” in Katmandu.  A sweet story of communion and adventure, and a cinematic plea for the end of hostility between religious and secular Jews in Israel.
