Submit a film for 2001 Submissions for 2000 closed, submit for SJFF 2001! The Seattle Jewish Film Festival, presented by the Seattle Chapter of the American Jewish Committee, is one of the top five Jewish film festivals in the United States. This week-long festival features national and international award-winning films and a full slate of guest speakers, visiting filmmakers and educational forums. Other highlights include the annual bagel and film brunch, special Opening and Closing Night programs and FILMTalks!, a day-long diversity training workshop for area high school students. We are currently previewing films for our upcoming SJFF 2001 season. To be considered, your film should in some way answer the question: "What does being Jewish mean?"
HOW TO SUBMIT: The Seattle Jewish Film Festival is a non-competitive, non-profit festival with no entry fee for submission. We will consider all films received by Jan. 1, 2001.Mail a VHS preview copy, preferably NTSC (with English subtitles if appropriate). PAL is also acceptable. Include promotional materials, posters, still production photos, press reviews, and background materials (English only). Final screening formats for the festival are: 35mm, 16mm, beta sp. All materials can be mailed to the address listed below. Preview copies will not be returned unless postage and a return mailer is included.
