Whos
the Caboose?
This
hilarious mock-documentary lampoons the Hollywood snake pit, complete with
cutthroat thespians and backstabbing agents. Susan, a New York comic,
embarks for LAs pilot season, pinning her hopes on a TV sitcom.
Her milquetoast boyfriend follows
her out hoping to shack up with the ambitious dark beauty.
Competing with bevies of blonde actress-wannabes, Susan finally
lands a big role but is unabashedly asked to change her look. A
gut-busting, frustrated jab at the Jewish paradox in Hollywood. When
is Jewish humor considered too Jewish? Andy Dicks portrayal of
Susans Hollywood agent drips with irony. This film will especially
amuse diehard Seattlites.
Special
Guests: Filmmakers and cowriters Sam Seder and Charles Fisher, introduced
by Warren Etheredge, host of Talk Cinema
