INTERNSHIPS
This is an excellent opportunity for college/university students wishing to gain hands-on experience in festival programming, event planning, community service and/or public relations/marketing.   Those interested in film and the arts will also find this work of particular interest. Interns must be able to work 10-15 hours/week and the American Jewish Committee’s downtown Seattle office.  Interns may start at any time. Internships are unpaid, though may be applicable to degree requirements.

Excellent organizational and communication skills are a must.  Enthusiasm, positive attitude and ability to work well in fast-paced environment also required.

Interns can work in any of the following areas:

  • Film Intern: assist with film research, trafficking, filmmaker
  • Volunteer Intern: assist with volunteer recruitment, management, training
  • Public Relations & Outreach Intern: assist with outreach and marketing efforts to the press/media, Jewish community and Seattle film community
  • Event & Box Office Intern: assist with overall event management and logistics
  • Design Intern: assist with SJFF print projects and website
  • Development Intern: assist with sponsor recruitment, grant research, donor relations
