INTERNSHIPS
 |
This is an excellent opportunity for college/university students wishing to gain hands-on experience in festival programming, event planning, community service and/or public relations/marketing. Those interested in film and the arts will also find this work of particular interest. Interns must be able to work 10-15 hours/week and the American Jewish Committee’s downtown Seattle office. Interns may start at any time. Internships are unpaid, though may be applicable to degree requirements. |
Excellent organizational and communication skills are a must. Enthusiasm, positive attitude and ability to work well in fast-paced environment also required.
Interns can work in any of the following areas:
- Film Intern: assist with film research, trafficking, filmmaker
- Volunteer Intern: assist with volunteer recruitment, management, training
- Public Relations & Outreach Intern: assist with outreach and marketing efforts to the press/media, Jewish community and Seattle film community
- Event & Box Office Intern: assist with overall event management and logistics
- Design Intern: assist with SJFF print projects and website
- Development Intern: assist with sponsor recruitment, grant research, donor relations
